Spiral Methodology

We use the Spiral model as an alternate to our Custom Development Model to develop large, complex projects. This model uses an iterative and risk-driven approach for system development using features of prototyping-in-stages. The main benefit of this approach is that it provides our clients visibility in early stages and identifies glitches early on. Various steps of our implementation include:

Spiral Process Methodology - WeDig Techsolutions

1. Defining the requirements as thoroughly as possible
2. Analyzing the risk involved
3. Creating preliminary design for the proposed requirement
4. Creating the first prototype from the preliminary design
5. Reviewing the prototype with our stakeholders
6. Getting feedback from stakeholders and making the required changes
7. Repeating the cycle of software requirements, risk analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, feedback and performing changes till the stakeholders are satisfied with the refined prototype, which represents the final product desired
8. Constructing the final system based on refined prototype
9. Performing Integration, Load, Stress, Performance tests to thoroughly test the system
10. Performing User Acceptance testing in conjunction with the stakeholders
11. Setting up production environment and deploying the system on client's site
Providing maintenance or post implementation support in accordance with a mutually agreed Agreement/Contract and with complete adherence to Service level agreements (SLAs)
