Ask Motabhai – All You Need to Know about BSE’s Chatbot

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) recently launched AI-powered chatbot named ‘Ask Motabhai’ to provide customized, on-demand information to the visitors of the BSE’s official website.

Advanced technologies are spreading everywhere and no one is untouched by the benefits that implementation of technology provides in our day to day life.

Technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain are significantly entering almost every industry, business type and even in our homes.

The most common use of AI can be found as automated chatbots in sectors like healthcare, banking, and retail. The recent industry to incorporate chatbot is the stock exchange.

For a long time, stock market investors have found it hefty to go through the vast amount of data about a company before deciding whether to invest in it or not.

This long and ardent process has just turned simpler and fun. Thanks to a chatbot!

Asia’s oldest stock exchange, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has launched ‘Ask Motabhai’, an AI-based chatbot to help investors find stock-related information on its website.

The Ask Motabhai chatbot, developed in partnership with Microsoft and Shephertz, is capable of having a text-based conversation with the users and provide them with the customized information by mining the BSE website.

In addition to information about stock prices and corporate announcements, the chatbot is well qualified to handle queries related to mutual funds, derivatives and initial public offerings (IPOs).
